We break up for the summer holidays tomorrow
Tuesday 22nd July at 1.15pm!
It has been lovely working with the whole school community at Burley Primary School this term. After a period of uncertainty, it will be great for the school to have a full time Headteacher in place for September.
I know that Mr Twyman is looking forward to building a strong school community to take the school forward into the future. He will be working with a hardworking set of teachers and support staff who are fully committed to the school.
Your children have been delightful to work with. My one regret is that I did not manage to get to know them better but this has been challenging over the short period of time that I have been working with the school.
Finally, thank you to all of the parents and carers for making me feel so welcome and being so supportive. I have enjoyed my time at Burley and wish you all well for the future.
Our website is currently being redesigned. With immediate effect we will ONLY be updating the Letters to Parents and Newsletters pages of our website. Once the redesign is complete we will ensure it contains fully updated information. If you require any information please contact the office in the first instance. School Policies can be viewed in hard copy form.
Best wishes Mr Beales

We are pleased to welcome you to Burley Primary School. The school is a non-denominational Community Primary School catering for boys and girls from rising 5's to 11 years of age and currently has 107 pupils. It is situated near the centre of Burley village and forms a key part of the village community.
When you first arrive at our school, you will notice a unique atmosphere. Strong bonds and high levels of trust exist between staff and pupils, creating a happy and close community.
We provide our learners with an inspiring and exciting curriculum , challenging ideas and encouraging independent thinking whilst maintaining an ethos of nurture and support. Our school places a great emphasis on developing those skills which will enable pupils to value and enjoy learning for life. Each learner is valued as an individual with a unique set of skills and abilities. Everyone is encouraged to be the best they can be by taking advantage of all opportunities presented to them, by working hard and having fun as they learn.
This prospectus will provide you with most of the information you will need to know about out school but it will not allow you to experience the uniqueness of Burley Primary School. The only way to do this is to come in and meet our exceptional team.
With best wishes, from the staff and governors at Burley Primary School.
