Friday 4 April 2014

Today is the last day of the Spring Term. We wish you a very happy Easter and a restful holiday. School reopens on Tuesday 22 April.  I hope Kestrel Class enjoy their residential at Minstead Study Centre and will pop in to see them on Thursday evening.

After eight years at Burley, it is time for me to say goodbye.  The last few days have been an emotional rollercoaster for me as the children and staff prepare their surprises for my final day.  Even the lovely Lucy L managed to say no more to me than “Mrs K, the whole school has got a secret!”  Very intriguing.  Thank you so much for all the hard work that went into planning my wonderful send off.  I really appreciate the love and friendship that I received today.

The Governors have approved the final teacher training day of the 2013-14 academic year. This will be on Wednesday 23rd July 2014. School will close for the summer holidays on Tuesday 22nd July 2014.
