It was fantastic to see the children gain in confidence in their use of Google Classroom during their time learning from home last term as well as in school. We are keen to maintain the use of Google Classroom and therefore, moving forwards all homework will be set weekly through each individual class on Google Classroom.

All children respond differently to homework, some enjoy it and for some it can cause unnecessary stress and anxiety. As your child's parent, it is up to you to decide whether homework is regularly completed or whether you choose to dip in and out. The one thing that we would ask you to do consistently is to read with or encourage your child to read. We have reattached the letter that was sent to you last November explaining our reading reward system.

The homework will be set every Friday and will include reading, spelling, maths and topic learning. There will also be a discussion task for you to enjoy at home as we firmly believe family discussion time improves vocabulary, speech and language and listening skills.
